LADIES/MEN'S MINISTRIES

One of the most vital ministries of the church is that of the Ladies. Under the leadership of former presidents, Vonette Pierre, Frances Andre, Esther Joseph, and current president, Mrs. Guerlande Jeannite, the ladies are serving the church and the people of God in a very effective manner.
This is a group that answers to all the crises and the emergency situations that arise in our midst. They foster love at its best. Not only do they administer a vital fellowship among themselves, they also provide assistance to those in need. The ladies of the New Jerusalem Church maintain a group choir, which is a vital part of the musical and worship ministries of the church.

Mrs. Vonette Pierre, the pastor’s wife, encourages and assists the volunteers who diligently work out the streets to distribute gospel tracts and evangelize. As they endeavor to spread the gospel throughout the city, they are being supported by the church, which provides them the necessary materials.

Now that our church is under construction, the ladies organize fundraising activities. They have raised thousands of dollars so far through flea markets and other activities for the rebuilding of our church. They also go out and ask people to contribute whatever they can to this great project. They feel that the people are just building their home for the church provides spiritual, educational, social and moral assistance to everyone in the community.

Our church has also provided assistance to the people of Haiti in many ways. The ladies have been instrumental in seeking, preparing and shipping goods over to the homeland.
Many churches and people have benefited through this effort.
